Why is it when we come to making music for our children that there's a tendency to make music that is cheesy, cheaply recorded and twee? Especially when it's these American CDs that are horribly produced with a bunch of American kids singing? Why not at least take the backing tracks and put some British kids on there? 25 songs that are designed for kids to sing and do the actions may sound like a fun concept but it's impossible to get past the horrible music and singing. I know what you're thinking, it's for kids so it doesn't matter. But it does! Personally I think that if kids are to develop decent taste in music, they deserve to listen to good music even when they're little! But this? Yuk!
