It's hard to find any redeeming features in this motley American collection. Firstly the title is dubious in the extreme: how many children revel in singing "It Came Upon A Midnight Clear", "Deck The Halls", or "Angels From The Realms Of Glory" ? The overall choice of songs is strange. Secondly, The arrangements of many songs border on bizarre: "Joy To The World" is hillbilly, "Deck The Halls" is reggae, "O Holy Night" is oompapah and "Hark The Herald" is rock! Thirdly, the music is annoyingly virtual, 'variety' of instruments being imposters off a single tacky keyboard. Add to this the not-so-cutesy American children's voices and you have cheap yuletide nasty...even worse than Shirley Temple doing "On The Good Ship Lollipop"....Christmas deserves better than this.
