Flawless exhibition of joyous choral singing from this 20 plus strong Canadian outfit. They have fully captured the grace, beauty and sublime qualities of this artform with a refreshing, rare modesty that's a breath of fresh air. The 19 songs are mainly old yet largely unfamiliar, utilising folk tunes and traditional airs alongside contemporary works. Every item is melodic, accessible, and thoroughly satisfying. Lovers of good singing will be driven to near ecstasy by the beautiful sound of these young people. Sometimes acappella, also with choice instrumentation, this recording reaches rarely-scaled heights of choral bliss. A wonderful achievement, deeply spiritual and moving.
