The latest children's release from New Wine brings in the musical talents of Dan Boreham, Cathy Burton, Florence Chisholm, Aaron Frith and Dan Wheeler with a selection of songs designed for pre-schoolers. Lyrics remain simple, no references to "washed in the blood" and other truths that may not be understood at this age, but statements like "God You're So Cool" and "My God Is Everywhere". The musical style is also relevant. Songwriters include Doug Horley and Ishmael amongst others, modern writers who can communicate to children and create lots of fun actions to do, such as "I Can Wriggle"' which encourages us to "Jump like a flea, growl like a tiger and buzz like a bee" - sounds exhausting! The only traditional children's song contained here is "Jesus Loves Me, This I Know". This is a recommended resource for parents and teachers alike.
