The final test of any leader is the quality of people that have been trained up to replace him. For years Matt Redman was synonymous with Soul Survivor, but seasons change. Tim Hughes now fronts a pack of contemporary worship leaders that have built on 2004's tremendous successes such as the event in Trafalgar square. Australians Hillsong United are back and fit in well with the youth worship style. However, expanding on that style is Mark Beswick and the Power Praise singers with the "Superlatives" track, which is contemporary gospel straight out of the black-majority churches. Delirious? add their flavour of stadium rock with live performances of two tracks from 'The Mission Bell' album. Americans Chris Tomlin and Dave Crowder didn't make it in person this year, but some of their tracks did, such as "How Great Is Our God" with backing vocals by Matt Redman. Add to that the bonus five track 'Momentum' CD with Martyn Layzell amongst others and you have a collection of some of the best worship leaders giving their all to create the awesome, passionate worship that is Soul Survivor for another quality vintage year.

This is by far the best album for capturing the heart felt worship of the soul survivor festivals. If you have never been, then this is the closest you will come to understanding the sucess of the festivals. Its worship at its very best from a range of worship leaders; 17 tracks for a tenner you cant go wrong!
