I had this album on the CD player in the car and as my daughter hopped in she recognised it as "the music they use to clear the tent at Soul Survivor". Basically, it's a seven track album of well-known worship songs from the Soul Survivor stable which have been re-mixed and souped up by the addition of a dance beat and a fair amount of electronica. Kicking off with "Never Stop Singing", which on first listening sounds like a lost fragment of the '80s, the set includes Ben Cantelon's "Not Ashamed" and Tim Hughes' "Jesus Saves". The original songs are catchy and inspiring and the new mixes give them a bit of a gloss and a shine that don't do any harm, but for most people this album will probably be little more than a souvenir of a great week in Shepton Mallet or Stafford.

Product Description
Keeping worship relevant to each generation is essential in an age of quick changes, so taking the worship songs of today and giving them a remix twist helps them to relate to younger and more alternative worshippers.
Formerly known as Soul Survivor Remixed, this is a great addition to the series, and continues to take powerful songs and blend them with dance beats and a healthy dose of electronica, while retaining the vocals as they were originally released. The six tracks will include ‘Not Ashamed’ (Ben Cantelon) and ‘Holding Nothing Back’ (by Tim Hughes sung by Beth Croft).
