Anointed, passionate, atmospheric worship. Whatever it is that many live albums miss, this album has definitely captured. The heart of worship clearly exudes from this recording, to the extent that it captivated me to join in the worship every time I listened. I have sung the chorus to "Hey Lord" so many times, I know all the words: "La La La La " This album is pervaded by Matt Redman and his songs but not dominated by him. Paul Oakley's "Jesus, Friend Of Sinners" is one of the rockier tracks, but it is then followed by an emotionally charged "Amazing Grace". The powerful rhythms will get you dancing, the harmonies will get you singing along, and the guitars rock. This is not an album that I can listen to without being drawn in. It is called The Message' and the Message does come over. This is youth worship at its best; listening to it makes you feel part of that heavenly crowd. I hate this album because it makes me so gutted that I wasn't at the event when it was recorded. Even so, they might be playing it in heaven?
