CCM VETERAN Steve Camp has announced that his first recording in over three years, 'Abandoned To God' is about "giving all that you are for all that He is, regardless of the cost, and developing a heart for reclaiming the Kingdom of God through genuine ministry." "True ministry," says Camp, "springs out of the local church and brings people back into the local church." This message and theme resonates throughout his 15-song album. The singer/songwriter has undergone a name change, Steven John Camp, and has also accepted a position with Grace Community Church working for noted author, scholar and pastor John McArthur. Camp will be associate pastor, heading up the adult singles ministry with an emphasis on evangelistic outreach. Camp is also working on a book for Thomas Nelson tentatively titled Guard The Trust to be published later this year. CR
