Spring Harvest provides outstanding children's work each year. This recording is centred on the seven to 11 age group (my estimate) and highlights the great material that was learnt during the Easter period. The big songs are present such as "Happy Day" (Tim Hughes, not Edwin Hawkins' song!) and "Freerunners" (the title of the group my daughter attended). Production is the usual high standard (Dan and Matt Weeks), the mix of lead and children's voices spot on. From the rocking guitar at the start on "Best Friend" until the last atmospheric note of "Your Love", this is a skilfully produced, studio recorded reminder of the event.
