Reviewed by Dave Brassington A brand new release from The Gaithers featuring great and timeless hymns. Unusually for a Gaither DVD it has an orchestra within the studio, but still emanates quite a country feel as the Friend include the Oak Ridge Boys, Buddy Green and bluegrass great Doyle Lawson. The DVD kicks off with the classic hymn "How Great Thou Art". I really enjoyed "Shall We Gather At The River" led by Buddy Green and "God Will Take Care Of You" from the Oak Ridge Boys. "It Is Well With My Soul" by black gospel's basso profundo Wintley Phipps is also outstanding. Other good tracks include "I'd Rather Have Jesus" by the Crabb Family, "There Is A Fountain Filled With Blood" by David Phelps, "Since Jesus Came Into My Heart" by Doyle Lawson and who could not love "Leaning On The Everlasting Arms" by Norway's Solveig Henderson. This is the best new Gaither DVD for some time.
