Filmed against the background of the beautiful Red Rocks amphitheatre in Colorado, this DVD finds Bill and Gloria Gaither with many of their familiar friends and musical acquaintances. I particularly enjoyed "Bigger Than Any Mountain" featuring Stephen Hill, Ann Downing and Amy Lambert, and a terrific rendition by Russ Taff, "They Call It Gospel Music". There are some lovely panoramic views of the surrounding areas and most of the music is of a very high quality, including good contributions from the Crabb Family, The Greens and Terry Blackwood. The only downside as far as I am concerned is the comedy, Mark Lowry's clowning with the Gaither Vocal Band I can stand, but the featured spots by Aaron Wilburn and Taylor Mason won't connect with us Brits and spoil for me what is otherwise a very enjoyable DVD.

Product Description
The majestic splendor of Colorado's Rocky Mountains provide a dramatic backdrop for the Gaither Vocal Band-hosted Rocky Mountain Homecoming and Red Rocks Homecoming, taped at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, one of the world's most spectacular natural wonders. Bill and Gloria Gaither's Homecoming Friends, along with Gaither Vocal Band members Guy Penrod, David Phelps, and Russ Taff pay tribute in song and spoken word to the beauty of America's west.
