The latest release from the Gaither stables is a collection of a batch of great hymns sung live by some of Southern gospel's finest voices. Sounds good? Absolutely, although sometimes the over the top production, which infuses many of the Gaither recordings, is still present on such tracks as "When I Survey The Wondrous Cross". Having said that, the vocals here from Jessy Dixon, Andrae Crouch and Mark Lowry are simply outstanding while the more traditional Southern gospel songs "Lily Of The Valley" and "Stand By Me" will connect with older listeners. But for me the track that is worth the price of purchase alone is "All People That On Earth Do Dwell" sung here by The Martins. Simply outstanding. You will want to repeat play the track just take the performance in!
