Described as an antidote to the blues, this certainly starts off in an unusual way as the old bluegrass standard "I Feel Like Travelling On" is given a bluegrass and jazz treatment. Even more unusual is the re-working of the old Tex William's country hit from the late 1940's "Smoke, Smoke That Cigarette", as "Led Out Of Bondage". There are some familiar tunes such as "The Old Gospel Ship" and "Because He Lives". With the emphasis on joy, this is a very good album.
