Mainly yuletide medleys. Sometimes they're Gaither originals on Christmas themes, eg, "It's Christmas" sung by the Homecoming Friends, "It's Time For Joy" performed by Stephen Hill, Joyce Martin McCullough and Joy Gardner, and "Messiah Is Born" sung by Reggie Smith; sometimes Gaither originals on non-Christmas themes and (thankfully) not an overused carol in earshot. The orchestrations by Milton Smith are a bit overblown but overall, a reasonable example of what a Southern gospel style Christmas might sound like.

Product Description
This wonderful Christmas CD from the Gaithers focuses on the real reason to celebrate - Jesus. What better reason to sing His praise and reflect on the greatest story ever told. Includes: 'Joy unspeakable, Jesus, what a lovely name, Messiah is born, Glory in the highest.'
