Also known as 'Live In Concert', this CD features selections from an attractive CD/DVD package which became a chart entry for the popular Irish singer. To term it as "country" is probably stretching the term, as over the years Daniel's music has encompassed many styles, ranging from traditional Irish, country, easy listening and some extremely successful gospel recordings. The album begins with one of his early Irish country hits, "Stand Beside Me". A new song "Flying With Angels" is particularly outstanding and a poignant gospel song. However it did put me in mind at times of that country classic from the 1950s "A Satisfied Mind". "Walk Talk" was a country type UK chart hit many years ago for the Irish singer Val Doonican while "Together Again" is a fine duet with Mary Duff of a Buck Owens country hit of the 60s. The CD closes with the much loved hymn "How Great Thou Art". A nice album, but I would honestly advise to seek out the CD/DVD package as even better value.
