Once more the compilers have taken tracks from Maranatha! Music's groundbreaking 'Praise' series and endeavoured to cluster them around a particular theme, this time God's greatness, power and authority. Because of their source the songs here are given very gentle MOR treatments, unlike the usual 'fix bayonets' approach you will find in later, more triumphalistic praise albums. Some of these recordings, particularly the earlier ones, seem a bit sleepy. But if you want a reminder of the fledgling years of contemporary worship there are still some great songs and singing on this compilation.
