My vote for the most joyously encouraging praise album of the year. Those of you who still believe all American praise music is spineless muzak had better catch this album where contemporary rock, pop and funk arrangements are put to a set of spine-tingling songs of consistently good quality. Volume 3 in Maranatha's obviously popular 'Spiritual Warfare Series' the incisive lyrics presented will, to critics of the charismatic renewal sound like so-much shallow triumphalism but are in fact biblical exhortations to flex spiritual muscles and do some real damage to the enemy's strongholds. The unison chorus work well against the pumping accompaniments while the occasional lead vocals from the likes of Jamie Owens-Collins, Denny Correll (a new album from him is years overdue) and John Barbour are excellent. And the version of "Be Bold, Be Strong" with Tata Vega whooping it up like she's in a funky storefront is the definitive version of Morris Chapman's praise evergreen. Thoroughly recommended both to youth group leaders and adventurous worship leaders wanting to wrench their congregations away from soporific MOR praise.

There is a song that starts out with the words:
“ we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but we war against the powers of darkness. But we are mighty through God by the blood of the lamb as we render the enemy powerless. We are pulling down every birth of Satan, pushing back every force of hell, casting down the imaginations, that exalt themselves@.
What song is that? Where can I find it.

Looking for a warfare song form the 90's, I can't remember who sang it, it was like hosanna, hillsong or maranatha, but it was based on Ps 91, "under the shadow of the almighty .. . " it had a tribal beat to it and was a awesome worship song, but no one can remember who sang it or what it was called, can you help

I stumbled on your sight by mistake. There is an old song out there called "Spiritual Warfare" and I can't, for the life of me,seem to find it. The beginning goes "This is a spiritual warfare we are fighting, if you want to win you better hold on. We have the power to overcome evil greater that he that is in me then he That is in the word. Keep on fighting fight on"
I would like to find the music and lyrics for my church.
