According to the sleeve notes, this is a mixture of songs and Scripture readings that should "draw you close to the heart of God." It's actually a few songs from the back catalogue, strung together with little sense of coherence and a few verses from the Bible wrenched out of their contexts and read with apparently no rehearsal by Max Lucado. The songs (and instrumentals) themselves are eminently forgettable and Mr Lucado was obviously hired so that they could put his name on the front cover rather than for his ability to read Scripture (it's worth comparing him with David Suchet reading on some of the Langham Arts recordings). This is little more than a cynical marketing ploy and deserves a wide berth.
