Over the years California's Maranatha! Music were the key company in pioneering contemporary worship music and the selection of songs here from their groundbreaking 'Praise' album series although somewhat dated are still performed with slick MOR polish while many of the songs are truly timeless. No mention of who is singing lead however. Whoever they are, all is superbly polished, these songs are mainly late '70s/early '80s material, but a high per centage, eg, "I Love You Lord", "As The Deer", "When I Look Into Your Holiness" have retained their impact up to the present time.
