I am pleased with the classics that Spring Harvest has pulled from their archive to make this album. It is always good to hear the worship songs that focus on God and what Jesus achieved on the cross and no one can argue that most of the songs here are contemporary classics. So we have Tim Hughes' "Happy Day", Rick Founds' "Lord I Lift Your Name On High" and Reuben Morgan's "Mighty To Save" and though you may have heard better recordings of these they all work wonderfully in a congregational worship setting. During "Amazing Grace" Tim Hughes falls silent and allows the congregation to sing you realise just how well hymns such as these work with large crowds. The simplicity of the metre in many of these songs makes them a pleasure to hear with a throng of worshippers giving full voice. Powerful stuff.

Product Description

He Is Risen Indeed is a live worship collection with an Easter theme, taking some of the most powerful recordings ever made from Spring Harvest's big-top.

Spring Harvest itself is a celebration of Easter and Jesus' resurrection, and this CD resounds with the sense of wonder captured each year as thousands come together to contemplate His sacrifice, and rejoice in the risen Lord.

Featuring songs focused on the Cross, this collection will provoke a powerful and renewed sense of the wonder of Jesus' once-and-for-all sacrifice, with heartfelt worship the only adequate response.
