'Kids Praise' is much better than its sister volume 'Little Kids Praise', with a decent production from Paul Field, Paul and Jenny Legg doing the lead vocals along with a kids choir directed by Pat Bilbrough. Also, the songs are less predictable with Lyn Jackson's pretty, choir led "Lord I Feel The Heartbeat", Sammy Horner's "How Come I Don't Get What I Deserve" oldie and the underrated John Hardwick's "Let The Little Children" all passing the old grey whistle test. All in all 'Kids Praise 2001' is worth investigating for your young'uns even if you couldn't get them to Spring Harvest this year.
