First off congratulations are due to the technical folks who have captured these live performances with such clarity - we can hear the bands, the singers, the audience and all the lyrics. Pursuing the belts and braces approach they've printed the words of the songs in the attractive CD booklet. Worship is led by Cathy Burton, Hillsong London, Nick Herbert, Tim Hughes, Pete James and Worship Central, while on the songwriting front we're in good hands with the likes of Britain's Ben Cantelon and Matt Redman and America's Chris Tomlin and Phil Wickham. The fresh and catchy songs are full of energy and enthusiasm for the Lord. . . you might well find yourself praying and dancing at the same time - try "God's Great Dance Floor". Many of the songs are uptempo - the album kicks off with two particularly infectious tracks - "This Is Amazing Grace" (Burton) and "Let It Be Known" (Hughes) - but there are more reflective moments as well such as Hillsong London's "This I Believe (The Creed)" and the haunting "God I Look To You" by Cathy Burton. Fittingly the album ends with a triumphant declaration of faith - "Sovereign Over Us" (James). I suspect that this an album that will grow on the listeners with repeated playing and inspire many to turn out for Spring Harvest 2015.
