Stripping worship down to just a couple of acoustic guitars, a piano, an upright bass and some percussion (including a djembe!) is a nice idea and the eight songs here are largely well established favourites from Canadian worship leaders Brian Doerksen, Andy Park and Brian Thiessen. The guys sing with warm intimacy on their own compositions while Monique Tute offers a relaxed version of Brenton Brown's "Reign In Me". If you are drawn to the idea of "acoustic worship" these engaging recordings may appeal.
