I’m not sure what can be said about volume 39 in a series that hasn’t already been said before, perhaps as many as 38 times! This a live recording, although any audience participation is mixed so far down that most of the time it seems that there are only two or three people making up the audience. The set is strangely muted, made up almost entirely of songs which are not suited to corporate worship; could this be the reason for the apparent lack of passion? Lyrically, the songs are majestic; read the inlay and you will see what I mean. However, many of the tunes do not match the spirit of the lyrics. The album is subtitled, ’10 New Worship Songs To Touch The Father’s Heart’; unfortunately, they do not fulfill this grand design. Perhaps this would be better repackaged as an ‘Andy Park in Concert’ album.
