The listener's initial reaction to this collection of 12 live praise and worship songs, led by the well known Vineyard Music Group of California, will depend entirely on his or her approach and expectations. For pure listening value, it is a pleasant but rather unexciting collection, with little variety in arrangement or style. However, as a resource for churches and worship groups, 'Glory And Honour' is a useful collection of new songs and this is where its strength lies. There is a good mixture of themes, with some beautiful, inspirational songs such as the gentle "I'll Serve You" and "At The Cross", alongside the more rousing numbers like "Make A Joyful Noise". A few more uptempo songs would not have gone amiss, but if you are looking for a fresh set of songs for praise and worship at church, or indeed at home, you could do worse that to check out 'Glory And Honour'.
