Considering the album title, it's pretty bizarre that this compilation features "Goodby World Goodby" by Anthony Burger, who died several years ago! However, leaving aside such peculiarities, the album opens in fine style with "Still Feelin' Fine" by the Booth Brothers followed by an engaging version of "Leaning On The Everlasting Arms" by Guy Penrod from his excellent 'Hymns' album. There are some other appealing tracks such as "Lead Me To That Rock" by the Oak Ridge Boys and "Back Home Again" by a composite group of Gaither singers. The only track I could have done without was "God Bless The USA" by Ivan Parker, which veers into the Homecoming Friends' occasional bout of patriotism. All in all, some nice tracks here, but these days 12 tracks seem a bit sparse and devotees of the Gaithers may well have some of the original albums.

To you Bill and Gloria, you might never get to know this, You are a beacon of hope to many here, you do greater things than He who called u. Didnt He actually say you will do so? To you flaming fire of God i..e the Homecoming team, you have flamed up my heart and life for God , Iam now alive, I can see. God so richly bless you all. Mark Lowry, keep up your special ministry of lighting up sullen souls
