Recorded in the church at the Billy Graham Centre, The Cove, North Carolina, with the artists all dressed up in "old time" costume. This DVD presents a wide variety of well loved Southern gospel songs, many of which have passed into more general acclaim. The DVD kicks off splendidly with Jeff and Sheri Easter performing the Carter Family classic "Keep On The Sunny Side" and then continues with a whole host of familiar tunes performed in a variety of musical styles and voices ranging from quartets and trios to communal singing, eg, "When The Role Is Called Up Yonder". There are some noteworthy solo performances. I particularly enjoyed "Farther Along" by the very sweet Peasall Sisters, Buddy Greene's virtuoso harmonica and vocal performance of "Jonah And The Whale" and "God On The Mountain" by black gospel's Lynda Randle. There is so much to enjoy on this superb recording it is hard to pick a favourite and I think this is one of the very best Gaither albums that they have recorded. Superlative stuff!
