Another release in the popular 'Gaither Gospel Series' there are many much-loved hymns including "Blessed Assurance", "Rock Of Ages", "Joy To The World", "Majesty" "There Is Power In The Blood", "What A Friend We Have In Jesus", and "Our God Reigns", along with some lesser known items, at least to British ears. Out of about 20 singers who perform these songs in various com­binations the only three known to me are Tanya Goodman Sykes, Cynthia Clawson and Candy Hemphill who also appeared as part of her family group The Hemphills. One or two tracks rather grated on the ear like the opener "Blessed Assurance" where Larry Ford and Lillie Knauls seem more on a verbal jousting match than singing the song. However track four "Sitting At The Feet Of Jesus", a song I have not heard before is an absolute gem performed by Wesley Pritchard, Joy Gardner and Stephen Hill.
